Eazy Fashion: Black and White8/20/2015 10:08:00 AM
Even though I have a lot of blacks and whites hanging in my closet, I hardly ever wear them both together. Perhaps it's because I spent most of my life wearing a uniform set with that combination that I subconsciously shy away from it (I do miss my uniform-wearing days sometimes. Who knew our black and white gingham midi school skirts would be one of the trends at this time? Lol.) Black, when styled accordingly, will always equate chicness and/or edginess for me (like Kylie Jenner or something). A lot of bloggers even dedicate their whole closet space to just black and white (and grays), and I have mad respect for them considering Manila's schizo weather. Ironically, this combination is something I'm still trying to figure out how to channel right in an outfit that isn't crazy, but is relatable, wearable in ordinary days, and fits my personality and look. I gave the thought another try when I got these lovely shoes from Eazy Fashion recently.
I'm so glad they had these platform shoes on hand (plus points for their cute soles)! Heels are still a bitter-sweet thing for me, so platforms are my current saving grace when I need a little boost in the height department (that won't make me wobble every step I take). I would normally wear these shoes with a plain white shirt and denim jeans, but since I fortunately got a chance to test them out during a lunch out with my friends, I decided to go the smart casual route instead. I took a cue from the palette of my shoes and went with this ensemble. Heck, if your boss isn't strict with the dress code, I guess you can take a chance and wear something like this to work, right? Lol.

Also, if you haven't heard yet, Eazy Fashion had a recent makeover as well. They relaunched their online store with a whole new look! Totally love the upgraded site's general feel (especially since the black and white makes it look chic-er and classier now.) Together with it, they're having an on-going ootd contest. All you gotta do is take a photo of your ootd and you can get a chance to win their grand prize! Check out the full mechanics and details over at their website (click here) to learn more. Best of luck to everyone who joins! Follow Eazy Fashion on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more updates.

Btw: You can check out my ootd in action for this ensemble below. Thanks so much to Kenny who helped me with this even though he wasn't feeling too well! You're such a (storm/sand/shadow) trooper, lol! I love you so much!
